Interestingly enough, even though he was feral for 5-6 years and obviously feeding himself, he doesn't even look at Birdie. Not even on his radar. I have found that true with most every cat I had.

I did have one cat that got too curious when I had a Lory; the lory is a tough, bold bird (although only a little larger than a cockatiel) and they have a wicked bite. Cat got enough of a nip, she decided to leave well enough alone. Although she did like to perch on my shoulder and watch the bird when I would have it out on the couch.

Yes....came last night. Keeps dropping. We are right around 0 now. Looking like negatives and single digits until Monday.

Personally I love it.

 

My Buddy made the same choice. Now that I am retired he bugs me every day for his walk. But he kept going outside via his dog door to the backyard, and every time he came in he looked at me like, "dad the weather sucks, I guess we will go tomorrow". L0l.
