Lowe's does not appear to sell this tee outside of the wall kit.

Buy the wall kit, swap out the two pieces that you have as defective (the T and 24), then take back and say that the kit is cr*p and pieces won't go together. When offered a replacement, tell them you've decided to go with something else after this experience. Hmm, does the wall kit have a 24?

No, that was what I first got for the section to go through the thimble but it was too long. The kit does not include the through the wall section or the 1 foot section that goes beneath the support plate.

What I don't like is that the tee does not mechanically connect to the support plate, it just sits loose and I guess is held in place by gravity.

No go at this point. Selkirk said three weeks, was hoping that would be wrong. I need to get the chimney up, hearth, and stove in place. I am freezing here, the bottom dropped out of our summer time temps; the New Year came in as a bear. I am trying to see if there is some magical way I can get the Summers Heat 2400 at Lowes but that is not a cheap stove. I am thinking that better to spend once than twice.

Yes, they did and I really appreciated their generosity; it was really sweet of them to try and help me out.

See this post by me: CFM Corporation Stove | Firewood Hoarders Club

Just not sure about spending money on that stove; there is no information on the stove to be found.

I took the tee out of the box and it has a dent in the side; clearly visible from the ground. This is new stuff, I am not suppose to put up with dented items because people are to damm lazy to properly pack something, it was shipping in just the shelf box, not inside of another box with padding. I am pizzed off.

I used it to check the levelness of the support plate and I was OK east to west but not north to south. I spent some time deciding the best way to approach it without disassembling the whole thing. I think I can fix it; I worked until it was too dark and too cold. I hope to get it level tomorrow before the rains come in. Decided time to quit and prepare a nice dinner.

My apologies for the tone of the earlier post; I was a bit upset because things are not going so well with everything. I want a nice cozy fire to enjoy on these cold winter nights.

Don't worry about it. I'd have been out in the yard having a fit, or worse. :hair:

I called Price Grundy; of Sierra Sales & Service (appears they handle the RMA of Selkirk) and complained and asked how he was going to make it right. I was really surprised that Price was the one that answered the phone because the first time I contacted Selkirk, I was transferred to Price Grundy; I thought Price Grundy worked for Selkirk. So now I am questioning Selkirk; I think I will call them tomorrow and enquire about this whole Price Grundy thing and complain about the damaged replacement part; I want one overnight to me now and in a proper shipping carton.

That's about how mad I was yesterday when I drove 15 minutes in town to find out the Stihl dealer was closed.....since December 24th !!! .....Then I had to drive 30 minutes the opposite direction to another dealer.
Cost me 6 gallons of fuel and 1 1/2 hours to get a $6 dollar chain sharpening that the wife could have dropped off on her way home from work....

We feel your pain Kimberly...it's frustrating for sure
