Friend Calls Again 2nd Load

Friend send me a picture just now of another load he got for me..he said it was more locust cherry maple

 

What a haul......I know you will take very good care of your friend.
What do you estimate he has brought in those two loads ?

those are some real nice black locust logs.....pretty stinkin sweet I tell ya !!!!!

 

Nice mix of good burning wood.Wish I had friends like that, it would make this wood hoarding thing a whole lot easier.

 

I love black locust, burns the best for me, splits easy with a maul. The only negatives around here is it usually has some bad rot spots in the trunk. Yours looks pretty solid!!!

 

ill send him and his wife to a nice spa for the day with some nice massages. I should have about 4 or 5 cords there

 

I love it too. Love the heat it puts out. I have some in the stove right now..

 

Excellent. That there is a sweet load. It would get us through two winters of burning. Very nice.
