Know it well... Dad was the worst(not really, but 18 years after building the home I grew up in he was finishing trim a few weeks before selling it:picard::rofl: ) and I'm not much better..... Few years behind on projects here that would be finished in short order if I was still employed as a carpenter working on someone else's place

I'm thankful for an understanding wife:yes:

I was supervising after all, i try to mix all of the stacks evenly as they go to the shed. makes for a true "mix of hardwoods". This year we are burning(estimates"); 5% dogwood, 5% fir; 15% hard maple"(thats the torn looking REALLY white stuff), 20% Hickory, 55% mixed white and red oak.....

Me too, we're a team. Without each other we would surely fail.

Cool looking wood shed, I really like the looks of it. Agree with the above folks saying nice the wife helps out. What kind of fir do you get in your region? For us its doug fir. Doug is great firewood and I seek it out aggressively, just not quite as covenanted as my favorite softwood larch.

Around here the fir is usually douglas f8r that people bought as balled Christmas trees yeasts ago and planted in their yard. Without other trees real close by to support them they get real torn up in our thunderstorms.

So how difficult is it too spoon tires on and off for bikes? I've always just taken the wheels into the dealer and they mount and balance them.

Fwiw, my wife hates having her picture taken too.

It's pretty tough at first, gotta have the right tools. You figure it a few tricks and get the technique pretty quick.

I don't take mine to dealers because I value the paint staying on the wheels and the job being done right. I worked for an MC shop in high school into college and saw some pretty fubar stuff. At least if its wrong when i do the work I can only blame me. Its always right though. I take the time to triple check my work, a shop doesn't do this. I do ALL of my own MC work. I don't even let them inspect it without supervision....
