Lol. See if that title catches your attention. I know a few of you like DexterDay will get a kick out of this but I'm trying to decide weather or not to be offened. All I can come up with is well its there loss. I got this letter from the AS owners. And not that I'm probably of great loss to the site and can think of a few other modders that are. So I thought I'd see what Ya'll think. Mods if this is inappropriate fell free to delete. As I'm not here to start a fight just bring a chuckle to you.

 

I wouldn't be offended like you said it's their loss. What pizzes me off is grouping everyone together if you have trouble with some get rid of them and move on this country getting to soft and doesn't want to make examples out of the problem ones. It's turning into mamby pamby land not everyone is a winner and not everyone is a loser and I don't see anything wrong with that.

millermodsaws I wondered if you were going to get lumped in with the rest of em....I still dont have a clue what all brought this about. I assume it was another brad/randy thing. Are you able to work around it and just advertise the saws/parts and not advertise porting?

 

Not even gonna bother. I really only advertised to sell the saws. Sponser or not I can still do build threads i think if I choose and that alone is enough to let potential customers know what I do. And my thought is if they don't want that I'll gladly move them to FHC and the other forum I belong too. I build saws because I love doing it. Not because I depend on it to live on.

 

There is a thread over there posted by Darin saying that they were doing it because the sponsorships get in the way of fair moderation.

 

I missed that one. Unless it's someone asking for help or a thread I can learn something on i kinda bypass it. Lol.

 

Ive been following some of the "Banned Camp" and WTF threads over there. Sounds like it got ugly. And yea, pretty sure it was a Brad/Randy thing. IDK but its really no loss to me, the mods over there let WAYYY to much distastefull mud slinging and down right lude postings go though.

 

I went hunting around because it seemed kind of quiet and I hadn't been on the last week much. I guess a bunch of people got banned? Darin banned a couple people that made snarky comments in the thread I mentioned above.

I go over there for information since it comes up so often in searches.

I stay here for the general lack of drama.

 

millermodsaws Good for you to rise above the BS. Do you maintain a blog or website. My CS-670 has been asking very politely for port work.....

 

I'm not sure as I try to stay out of the bs. I now I personally have never had any problems with brad and I am really good friends with randy. He is a super good guy and a true friend.

 

I will. I will continue to post all my build threads. Either here or on the other forum I belong to. There are to many guys that appriciate build threads just to stop doing them. And it never fails. If you wade threw some of the bs in a build you will learn something from someone else.

 

I agree you can learn from anyone no matter if you like them or not. It just sucks people have to cloud good info with Internet egos and thread derailments I lose interest real fast. I enjoy building and modifying everything and always searching for info and aways be respectful when asking for help.

I didn't think any one was interested in all my junkers. I haven't took pictures of most saws I work on and port in a while. Just forget about it and I wasn't a sponsor any where so I don't advertise for work any way. I have way more than I have time for.

 

patching 028wb's and 455 ranchers back together jsut doesnt make for a very good build thread so i cant contribute much useful info.

 

I ported 3 7900 and took 1 picture of a cylinder and one picture of a muffler mod. Put all those oil lines on that other one and never took a picture one. Saws are all boxed up and ready to ship. I get to working and I ignore my phone so I don't take pictures.
