Ivan, get your vote up at the other thread I started! I want to see all the 50F guys voting on the poll.

Questions for you too, you think I should repost the important stuff in that other thread. Or just link it to this thread?

No but I want to see if it will work for me. I didn't really found a good one, just tried a old round mercury one with no success. I didn't noticed the poll on top of thread:picard:I voted!

I just switch from the wireless Skytech I had, to a new Lux (imacman recommended this one). I love it.

Touch screen, easy to use, can be 2 or 4 programs per day, and has a huge swing setting like most Lux stats do (2.25° each side of setpoint. For a total of 4.5° total swing). They rate the swing in numbers, going 1 - 9. Each number is equal to .25°. So 2 equals a half of a degree (.5°) but that's for each side of the set point (So it would be 1° total).. 6 would be 1.5°, 9 would be 2.25°

I love the large swing for On/Off (Fuel Mizer setting). I keep it at 8 (4°) when using Fuel Mizer and at 4 (2°) when using Tstat mode.

I think all proven modifications should be there. And here for trial ideas & troubleshooting and your regular updates on your progress.

That's a good temp.. I'm getting 140° right now and my furnace hasn't been cleaned in awhile. I have ash chunks hanging from the top baffle plates. Some of them hang down about 3/4". lol

Switched to Somersets yesterday, so they may finally be hitting the pot.

I just realized my furnace has been on idle (level 1). I just took a 4 minute video I will post tomorrow. I thought the flame looked low for level 4. Checked the hopper and it's all Sets..

Level 1 on this year's Somersets are keeping the furnace so hot the blower will not shut off. Normally with PTL'S the blower will cycle on and off on Manual level 2.

I may be buying 3-6 ton of this year's Sets.. Man are they hot and clean!! :)

This years Somersets are burning better than ever in my stove also... Thought maybe I just had my airflow regulated better, but I should have known better.

My glass has been cleaner than ever. I wiped it down the other day and it's still super clear. I am going back for more :dex:

Man, I am so jealous of the good pellets you guys have access to. That is a huge temp difference just based on the fuel you are burning.

I have some McFeeter's stacked up that I have been saving. They always burned really hot in the Harman, maybe I'll give them a kick and see what kind of heat they put out in the 50F. Dirty cold here right now, -20 C :shiver: on my way home from work tonight. House was toasty when I got home though. The 50F was idling away on heat setting 2 downstairs and the Harman was just starting up, must have heard me pull in the driveway lol. :fire:

Looking forward to the video. I'm blown away that on heat setting one your fan stays on solid with the fuel you are burning. Currently mine is on and off on heat setting 2. At 3 is stays on all the time. I run the furnace on the low fan setting.
