might not have enough "current" the device is rated 1.5 amp, power supply is only 300ma. won't hurt it if you use it, the voltage is correct the device just might not run properly.
It probably would damage the device. Not enough amperage. It would be like running a pump without enough supply of water. Pump would overheat. Same kind of thing with your transformer.
