Variried from the recipe just a little: used a beef arm roast, didnt let it stew for two hours, and used red wine vinegar instead of the apple cider vinegar called for. Also, served it on top of fried bread cut into strips. It was very good, but I will add some crispy mushrooms never time (cooked them after the bacon but before the meat).
Mine was really good, noticed when I ate it I think I missed the brown sugar in the recipe. Also I put a little more chicken broth in so I didnt get it down as thick as the picture. But I really liked it and will be making it again.
Haha I just bought everything to make it at the grocery store this evening! Must be the time of year.
