Came in a very nice pelican style case with some goodies. I bought an extra 9 round mag in addition to the two 7 round mags included. The 9 is a little too long for CC but great for target shooting. There's also a rebate for 2 more free mags and some other stuff...those are on the way.

I have big hands by most measure. XL gloves are short in the fingers for me but this fits pretty good. Pinky almost gets a grip with the 7 round mag. Wasn't even close with a G26 or Sheild.

Fiber front site is a great feature.

    I am a noob...but I like it.

Note: I can't take left handed cell phone pics worth a damm...so pardon the grip on the gun and blurry pics.

A good carry gun should have night sights. I prefer meprolight they are the brightest I've found. They aren't hard to install, I used a friend's milling machine table to press mine in.

Night sites are a good addition, but I value a good light more. Need to see it to hit it.

We're from different camps there. i have pretty good night vision.... No lights and no lasers on my guns. My thinkning is it gives you up as a target...

If you don't like the dangling pinky, look for a pierce grip extension for your 7rd mags. Makes a world of difference for me.

As for a light, I have crimson trace on my glock23, but my pm9 (deep conceal piece) is nekkid. Different tools for different jobs....no different than saws.

Problem with crap on the rail is that limits you to custom holsters. Not a huge issue, but just like everything else, :emptywallet::makeitrain"

For a home protection gun I agree 100%.

For concealed carry, I don't think sights matter all that much. Chances are you'll be within arms reach of your attacker and you're going to point and shoot. If you're far enough away to need sights, you probably shouldn't be pulling the trigger so I don't see night sights as much of an advantage.

There are some screaming good deals to be had on cases of 9mm currently in case you didn't know. 20 to 22 cents per round and free shipping.
All new guns need food :)

CCI Blazer Brass 9mm 115 Grain Full Metal Jacket

Link works for me. I have bought from them several times. I did notice that after the latest shooting their prices just about went up over night. The same 9mm blaze brass used to be $209.00 a 1000. 223 wolf went up $50.00.

Yes they did, but I haven't seen 223 wolf gold under 350 anywhere else either. That was bound to happen...300 a case? Yea....my ups lady hated me..and hell, I reload!

Your point shows you how fast prices can change and further means lukem should buy a pallet worth :)

    Some Ammo: 1/2 a pallet's worth.

Should I add that to the FHC dictionary?

Don't know what a Gma pallet is, but just keep in mind, a few years ago, aka 2 to 3, you couldn't buy 9mm ammo with all the $ in the world. Next year is an erection year. (Can't talk politics, right? :) )
Watch the sales, and buy accordingly.

Here's where I get 90% of my ammo. The wolf poly stuff is ok. A little dirtier than regular ammo but not bad. It cycles fine in my full size 9mm and the shield. The 45 stuff works fine in the XDS.
