People have done that. That's why they were machined originally. Nothing says you can't, it's a trial and error. If your going to collect the pan, it's now junk, and worthless. Can you cook on it, sure. The objective is to "NOT" remove the original surface area.
I just picked this one up today from my parents. It belonged to my grandmother. Any thoughts on the brand? I read that manufacturers made unbranded pans to be sold at hardware stores, Sears and Montgomery Wards.
Picked up the Lodge 3.2 quart pan/lid combo at wally world the other night. Went to 3 different ones before I found it.
I love my cornbread pan, need to find another one so I can make two pans at a time in the oven You have a great connection in your junk guy!!
Or this. I had to try it out. I like this size pan for eggs. They don't go running all over the place like a larger fry pan.
I had the opportunity to check out one of those metal racks last week and are they ever nice!! Dare I ask?
