Though many are china there are different quality tools. For example Original saw purchased all of Dewalts RAS and Table saw lines a few years back and Techtronic industries now owns Ryobi and most of delta tools ( Delta is now homeowner grade) however they also own Milwaukee tools and a few other high quality brands.

The problem is you have to do A lot of reserch to find the best these days.. Which I do as part of my job. We use a lot of porter cable at work and I very rarely need to rebuild any of there tools. Delta pretty much all the time gets rebuilt and the parts are ryobi part numbers go figure..

    You did good Adam! :)

Yea there grades as in everything. Not saying a bottom line HF saw is equal in power or longevity to that but that any of the names like dewalt etc probably equal. I know Milwaukee has cheapened but did not know below the rest etc.

Like I phone is made in china but to a different standard than other china phones

Yep, a nice lefty! Going to break it in tonight cutting beadboard. Hoping the saber-sawing goes as well as I expect the circular sawing to.

I almost took that beauty out and fired it up today, but instead got tied up splitting what was left of the big pin oak we took down a couple weeks back. I DID, however, run my 046 Big Bore for the first time since the new P/C changeout. It's not nearly as pretty as the MS461, but it does pull that 36" chain pretty good. Gonna do some milling with it tomorrow....

You won't be needing that 046 anymore with that nice pretty 461. I can maybe swing by sometime this summer and take that piece of junk off your hands ;-)
