Seems as after all the things we done Linda and I are now known horse thieves. We was driving down the gravel road today and saw 2 horses tied to a pile of post Christmas junk at the end of a wealthy horse traders driveway. So's I turned up the lane and knocked on the door of the big house. I was about to leave when the door opened just a small crack and a voice asked what I wanted. I said I was interested in them 2 ponies that was out by the road since I knew someone who would be interested in them. Take what you want, its all garbage the voice said and the door got slammed and locked up tight. I cant understand why someone home alone wouldn't open the door to a guy like me but, that's another story. At any rate, it seems I got 2 hoss's to feed now.

They seem pretty tame and made the trip home in the back of the truck without to much fuss. I thought just in case the laws around here was looking for me already I would make up my own wanted poster.

I've had quite a few horses in my life time but these just aint what I'm used to. Iffn you squeeze their ears they whinny and then they play the theme from the Lone Ranger show. dammest thing you ever seen nor heard. I believe they is almost house broke too.
And, by the way, after I have my internet fun with what is I think 2 VERY expensive toys that some over privileged kids got tired of, I am going to find a place to donate them for some young child that don't have such a toy as these. There was a big pile of some really nice children's cloths and other stuff just waiting for the garbage truck. I grabbed what looked good to take to a donation site but what is the matter with some folks with money? To lazy to deal with it? Just throw it away. SHESSHH.

It would be a shame to send them off to the glue factory.

Clue factory.... I think you might be on to something. If you could charge $5 per clue you could be an overnight millionaire.

Fantastic. Yeah, right on about those who have plenty (too much?) having so much apathy for those who do not.

Always thought the Lone Ranger's ride was white. Maybe it was from Hertz rent-a-horse while Silver was on vacation.
    Nice find!

I also motion that butcher be pardoned on any equine larceny charges should they present themselves in the future.

They look like they've been underfed their preferred diet of love from some kiddo so seems likely you rescued them - good going.
