    This was fantastic tonight. Dearest Wife put the nix on the peas, (no peas - no beans, yep I hear you) so I added a 1/4 cup of sliced mushrooms and a 1/4 cup of sliced celery. Turned out great!

    In my house house we'd be eating two different dinners.

    We simmered the leftover hambone with green beans and taters... For a nice soup. Looks like jelly when you cool it down in the fridge.

    I made split pea, ham stockmade from t he drippings from our thanksgiving ham was a great starter for with the bone
