Mine would just say "we have premium wood pellets". I'd get all excite thinking they are AWF's Only to find Inferno-Nations Choice-GS-North American's(Besides the GT's). But they do say "premium wood pellets" on the bags!
Well, talk about a deflated balloon....called and all they have is GT's and the Premiums (AWF). Guess I'll stock up on some more FSU's at HD....they sell them per bag at the ton price ($4.18/bag). I think another 25 bags should get me through this crazy winter.....I hope.
Very similar, IMO. I burned both and didn't notice much difference. I'd be getting the AWF's normally, but Lowes charges more per. bag.

Doggy, that Tractor Supply in Milton had their TSC brand, which were made by Lignetics.....I burned about 5 bags and they were right with the Seys in heat output during this last cold snap. I'd get em again in a heartbeat.
One thing I notice on the last Hamer bag I burned this season said "Ultra Premium"......these say "Premium Grade"....I wonder if they are the same....
Hamers only has one plant now. They used to have "Ultra Premium" from Mt Hope and "Super Premium" from the other plant(I forget the name). The reason for "Premium Grade" is PFI dropped the "Super Premium Grade" and most pellet mills are using the assigned "Premium Grade" wording. Where you should see the difference is a bar graph label that will show the low ash content. They should show ash content below 0.05% on the graph. IIRC the old Hamers were in the 0.04% ash content range.
Yeah, when I contacted them inquiring about the Clean Energy pellets they said they only have one plant now and that they were the same production as the Hot Ones....Hamer was pretty slick though, they went beyond "Super" premium and listed their chit as "Ultra" premium! lol
Update scored another 15 bags today they had 2 open pallets of Hamer's next to 6 open pallets of Chit Rivers ,as I'm loading my cart 2 guys come by and look at the Chit Rivers the one guy says " $4.48 that's a good price, but you got watch that they aren't made from soft woods they won't burn very well and they will screw up your stove". I didn't say a word , obviously that guy is not a member of this forum .
