    Buuuurrrrpppp!!

Now Sub you be kind to that old geezer, as that might be you in a couple of years.

Well managed to survive yet another Christmas celebration, ate way more than I should have.

Got a full tank of go juice in the genny, the snowblower, plus 10 gallons for additional, just in case.

Getting some of the toys set up, there are 2 new Kindle Fire tablets in the house, my youngest thought I should enjoy the touch experience provide by such equipment, it took me almost 20 minutes to enter my account user name and password so I could try out Amazon video. Big fingers and a bit of arthritis does not make things easy for me.

Wow, THANKS Steve, that'd be just great.. Ughh.. :p

( I'm still trying to awake from the food coma I've been in from the past few days - ready to hibernate again.. It's gonna be a long week here. )

Forecasting 4 - 8" inches of (white stuff) here Tuesday, naturally that means a foot (or more) up on the mountain here. :picard:

re: genny, sn*wblower, Thanks for the reminder Smokey! - Gotta get Gas in the a.m. :fart:

Ok, back to work - have an excellent evening all !

I'm more considerate of people than he is. Besides, I would never think on intruding on any of my kids like he has. If I get to the point I can't take care of myself, it's off to the woods I go.

I fired mine up yesterday. It knocked like crazy for a minute before it quieted down. Comforting knowing it will fire up if needed.

When you get to a certain point you just might do then what you say you would not do now.

Oh well such is life, if I'm away for a bit it will be because I'll be dealing with my ISP. Got a new modem/router to place in service. I now have all of my stuff that I transcoded from where ever spinning on a 1TB hard drive attached to my current router. It all streams quite easily to the TV and such. Now to reduce the wall wart count and allow for a higher internet transmission rate.

Hopefully that was it and you got lucky. This is the ground point on the frame right under the driver's area, correct? I think that is a common culprit when the selector acts flaky like your did.

Yeah, shouldn't be too bad, 4-8" around here. We had a good run.......

But this means that I am out of time and today is moving day for the pellets to make their trek from the Garage to the basement in 25 bag increments in the back of my truck-across the front lawn, down the hill and back up to the basement door.

Way easier than the old method of 5 bags at a time in a wheelbarrow. Trying to stop at the bottom of the hill was always an adventure :p .... and hard on the back and knees.

3 minutes up the road, McManus is selling the good stuff way cheaper.

We have two families in one house. What helps make it work is that we have separate apartments, and we both benefit from the arrangement. Had we not taken this direction, we would be isolated, and dependent on finding paid help for all the work done around here. The bonus is the interaction with the grandchildren. They visit us for hours even on school days.
