One of everybody's favorite "features" here at FHC is the genuine family feel (feuds and all! ) we have within the community. Unfortunately, from time to time, those that we care about may fall upon hard times and/or illness. This thread is for posting any prayer requests for those whom you may feel would benefit from everybody's thoughts and prayers.
Fantastic, MasterMech I would that we be kept safe during this holiday time, that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would intervene on our behalf and that His Mercy and Grace keep us in His Light, and thankful for all He has provided. Lord, watch over our loved ones and friends, at home and abroad- may we be led to receive your healing, your love and our salvation, which Your sacrifice made possible for us. I ask these things and give praise and thanks in the precious and Holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen..... and Amen
Because a lot of the members of FHC have become like family, we hold the members up in our prayers quite often. Thanks for starting this thread.
For those who believe in the power of prayer, I have a request. MIL has been battling the effects and complications of cancer. Hospice has been called in and time is short. My wife is helping all she can (she's an RN). We all know there is not a lot of hope, but prayer is all we've got. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas
I pray she is pain free and as comfortable as possible, and can feel love from the family and friends that surround her.
Please pray for our family. My mothers sister passed away this afternoon unexpectedly from a heart attack. Your prayers would be appreciated. Thanks Tim
Now one for me guys. I have a nerve I believe pinched and it is causing burning and some pain in my arm. Same arm that bothered me about 5 or 6 years ago and they discovered a nerve touching my spine. It doesn't feel the same as last time though, never had the burning sensation. I think it came from Christmas eve I was up on the kitchen sink with my arm out the window trying to clean the window on the outside without pulling it out and I felt something go. I'll go see my chiropractor first as he is the one that pulled me out of it the last time so I didn't have to go under the knife. Prayers appreciated.
Thanks Brian , I didn't like it last time. Guess it's darn good I'm way ahead on the firewood...but I have a big silver maple trunk that I really wanted to whittle at starting next weekend.
