You are certainly correct! And when my wife bought me this big tank I had to think it through for that very reason. That entertainment center is solid Oak. Bought by my wife at Chop n Save in Watertown, NY about 18 years ago before we ever met! o_O They are still open. You can buy finished or unfinished furniture there. This piece is quality. She said it was over $800 then. Yikes. Anywho, before the fish tank was put up there years ago, I had to brace the entertainment center to make sure it was strong enough. I spent some time thinking on it. Then cutting, planing, jointing, fitting, drilling, and screwing Oak pieces under the top. Then paid about $38 o_O for a sheet of Oak plywood for the back of it. Cut into two pieces the right size and then pre-drilled that and screwed it all the way around the outside and down the middle support on the back. The top and very bottom are solid from one side to the other. So when I get the entertainment center almost in place I have two wide boards that fit just right under the very bottom right where the middle dividing upright support wall is. All of this helps support all that weight, about 500 lbs with water and gravel, etc.!. And spread it over three "legs". Has worked well. Knock on wood. Oak wood that is!

    (Sorry for the novel.:emb:)

    8.34lbs./gallon X 55 = 458.7 + 8.34 for the over a gallon in the filter = 467.04 + about 30-ish more pounds of gravel and plants, etc. = 497.04. Oh let's just say 500 lbs., it's a lot of weight!

    Nice!

    I see he's going solo already too:thumbs:
You should get your boy a motorcycle/ atv helmet though. A bicycle helmet isn't designed for motorized vehicle use.

I'll get off my soapbox now. Just trying to keep another motorcyclist safe and having a great time.

Ask bikes are organ donors according to ER staff. ;)

Couch or crouch, pick your poison as they all will fall over naturally without a good rider.:handshake:

Less likely to see a group of Harley or Wing riders blowing by you on their rear wheels @ 80 m.p.h in weekend traffic...............just sayin'

But more likely to see a Harley rider drunk and in the ditch. I see that all the time here in Milwaukee. Just sayin' as well.

I will pass at high speed sometimes if the passing of said vehicle is a safer option than staying behind it, or near cagers with no regard to 2 wheelers.
