Wifey's dad can't travel anymore. So she goes to his house and I go to my pop's house. We had our get together with the kids last night so today it was just us two "bachelor bucks". I got my old ferguson to20 going last week, so spent today skidding logs out to open ground out behind his pond. It was glorious! Nothing like a 65 year old tractor pulling them out like it was nothing. Makes me smile just to think of it! And only 26 horses! Makes one appreciate proper gearing. Hope your day went well, too!
I would have put up some pix, but my phone camera is a pos. I was thinking about it. Nice Lil pile of logs to saw up out back! SOMEBODY tore up another bar a couple of weeks ago, and had to put his new Oregon bar and chain on to get the very last one out. Nothing like throwing big chips! Also got a log jack from Orschelns a few weeks ago, and got it out to help get chain around several of them easier. What a back saver! Love it when new toys work well.
