we lost power last night they say will be without till Sunday. Nice to have a Woodstove and a small generator (need to upgrade). Lost a couple trees through the night spent the day cleaning up the carnage.

There was a small tornado a little ways from us. Nobody hurt, but some damage to roofs and trees.

We didn't even have a storm here and we lost our brand new TV cable. They replaced it about a week ago because we were having problems. The wind was blowing, but not that bad. Turns out a feed truck came down the road and for some reason didn't fit under it. Driver must of left something up. Ripped it right off the house. :picard:But we are lucky compared to you folks. Best of luck to you on clean up and power restoration.

The light show and wicked loud thunder woke me up ~3am.
I dunno if its because there's no leaves on the trees but it was rattling picture frames on the walls

Damage reports coming in now, another smaller cell that was tracking toward my location has fizzled out.
Started hearing thunder ~3pm and the sun was out.

The local weathermen seem like this was totally unexpected - yeah just saw something on TV with debris scattered everywhere

After a month of unreal for us weather, it appears to be coming back to reality tomorrow night. We were 60 degrees and sunny yesterday. Christmas was partly cloudy and in the 40's. Now we're hearing that it is supposed to start snowing tomorrow evening and snow right thru sunday. The temps are then supposed to dump to -2 f sunday night. After that, back to the temps we should be having this time of year. Here comes winter for real...............
