This weather today here would have been perfect for cutting but I'm grounded till after Christmas....we just had a wrapping party in the living room.
That's a Great Tip! Thanks, I was wondering too... But didn't want to ask a obvious question... ... Looked like a Great Day, Sir. Merry Christmas...
Thank you! I hope all you have a great christmas! The cool thing is the oil doesnt eat the bottles and the last forever. Some nice features are bottles are easily replaced, they carry well into the woods so you dont need a big jug, and they are easy to store off the vehicle.
That IS a great idea!! Pouring bar oil into the saws drives me NUTS! I bet I have done it 500 times, and I bet 498 of those times I spilt oil all over the Freggin place!! Why is the bar oil fill always directly UNDER the handle bar? Especially on my Echo, it's almost impossible to fill that without making a mess. Somewhere there is a design engineer who is still laughing!! I'm going to try the water bottle idea. I'll add something, you can use a 6 pack carton (the cardboard ones) to carry/store 6 water bottles full of bar oil! The new FHC bar oil carrier 2000!!
I got tired of the oil mess myself so I use an old Gear Oil jug with the pointed spout. Works out good.......
I use a gear oil jug also, in case you didn't know the cap from the gear oil will also screw right into a quart sized bottle of bar oil
