Like to hear what everyone else is looking forward to eating Christmas day?

Since my bride is a vegetarian (I know, I know) I picked up the necessities for making homemade seafood pizza.

    What's yours looking like?

Very traditional, spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, some sort of veggie.

    Tonight...feast of the seven fishes!

I'm going to my daughter's homes. Turkey at noon with one daughter and ham in the PM with the other daughter. Breakfast upstairs with one son and a late afternoon snack at my other son's place.

We'll be eating our feast later today here on Christmas Eve. Turkey pulled from the brine after 24 hrs, rubbed with butter, seasoned and stuffed with carrots, celery, onion, and oranges. Just sautéd the neck and giblets, added celery, carrots, and onion to that, and finally added the stock and water ruducing as we speak. I will use this as basting after I flip the turkey. Garlic mashed pots, gravy, pinapple and regular stuffing, greenbean casserol, sautéd corn, with sweet potatoes as sides. Lastly, croissant rolls, apple and peach cobbler should finally put us to bed. House smelling good at the moment........

Do you prepare that yourself, or order it up? Looks like it can be a lot of preparation.

I'm over whelmed with your culinary descriptions! If I write a cook book can I call on you to help write it? :)

    Oh it's all me:)

    Appetizer
    Oysters on the half shell
    Calamari

    Soup
    Lobster, scallop and haddock bisque

    Salad
Baby greens with grape tomatoes and fresh crab salad

    Entree
Maine shrimp scampi served over a bed of squid ink linguini. The shrimp are Canadian this year as the shrimp fishery (shrimpery :)) is closed again.:(

That's 8 fishes, but I don't count the squid twice cause the second time it's just for color.
