I was pretty skeptical when I first got the plow wondering the same thing... but, it's angle seems to be perfect so as it loads up with snow, it pushes the blade down. Have to add a little "up" or I furrow the lawn when it's soft. Come to think of it, I oughta add a little more "up" cause I always furrow the lawn anyway... :picard:

Nice pile of wood Jack. Once split and in the shed for a couple years it will be excellent. No elms left here. Have a great Christmas.

Some of the poly plows actually weigh more than the same model steel blade. Boss in particular was almost 100lbs heavier (7.5') back when I bought mine in 05.

The snow way poly plows have hydro down pressure to overcome the light weight plow.

Fwiw, I've seen the poly mold board crack in extreme cold while playing dozer trying to move frozen piles!

Got a couple burn piles torched. Everything was wet enough to keep things safe.
Then it just dumped ~1" in the last 20mins

Close call today. Sump pump lost power and it is all kinds of f $!#ing flooded outside. Ran temporary power and we're good now. Glad I was home. Just an isolated wet spot in the basement.

If you've got an Android, there a reason for that. ;)

We use Google hangouts for just text, and also video calls all the time with my family.

And Jack Straw is lucky, (smart) to have a hydro splitter to take care of the elm. Elm is really a great burning wood.
