So do I, esp. if it has really good cheese and some good meats with a sauce with a bit of zip to it. For the most part, I think home made is the best to have. I have had some good ones at restaurants, but homemade is always at the top of my list. I also I like some really fresh garlic bread with it, Nice and hot out of the oven. Served with a simple salad, yum.

I think Grizz & the other site wizards turbo-charged the website, running -blazing- fast now. Thanks guys!:drunk::cheers:

Sometimes the best laid plans go to ...

Went to startup the '00 Camry this weekend, alternator starts whining, loud enough to overpower the car stereo that my wife likes to keep turned up to concert-level loudness before turning off the car. It's tired / needs a rebuild, with 230,000 miles on the odometer, the alternator doesn't owe us anything.

Did some scouting on CL, found a gentleman who had purchased a new replacement alternator for his Camry for repair, unfortunately his was a seized motor, so it was never installed/ran. A few hours of time & 60 bucks later, have the alternator here, the Camry is getting a Christmas present too!

re: Gift cards, I did end up getting each of the ladies a gift card or two, but ended up braving the stores and purchasing a bunch of items for under the tree - they've been really good this year (unlike me), so that's the least I could do for them. It was also a nice break while the new servers were updating @ work, it's real easy to get into a 'rut' when working with computer equipment for hours (days) at a time, alone .. Got to meet some nice folks while shopping, nice to get in the Holiday spirit and all.
Hope everyone is having a great Holiday season, safe travels, and Merry Christmas ! :tree::campfire:

Well, had a great time w/ the daughters in NYC at the Christmas Spectacular (except for the traffic!! :headbang: ), and the Rockefeller Ctr. tree.

BTW, the Rockefeller Ctr. tree this year came from about 3-4 miles from me. Not a bad looking tree.

    Some self-explanatory pics:

Some thirty something years ago I used to fish in the Walkill River just down the road. A nice place to wade through the water while fishing for smallmouth bass.
