    It is about 18 here today. The wind is blowing like crazy. Been snowing since last night and still coming down.
    Interstate 80 is shut down all the way across the state from blowing snow and ground like blizzard.
    Burning the usual lodge pole pine some cottonwood, Russian olive and a few pieces of American Elm. Glad I am retired and don't have to go out in this mess today. You folks back east enjoy the warm weather because this will probably blow your way.

    17 right now 10:00am, it was -6 when I was coming home from work at 1:00am.... Should be rain by Saturday.:loco: :crazy:

    Do you get a lot of wind there in the winter?
    My daughter used to live by Vegas, lot of wind there in the summer, I never went there in the winter but it snowed there a couple times.

    Yeah we had 50 mph winds with snow on Sunday, February we had 125 mph winds took out the roof on the house and garage.

    We were suppose to be wetter than normal and cooler than normal this year. Just saw a map on weather.com saying g were going to be warmer than normal. Which we are??? Maybe thats short term but still gonna get cool??

    The weather guessers in my area are wrong 80% of the time. I don't even pay attention to them anymore. Just use the weather rock.

    I am afraid so. With wind chill probably down to 5*. I will go out tomorrow with the tractor and clear a path up to the house and make sure there are no drifts I might get stuck in.
