I like the classic light strings that both of you have used. The kind of "old fashioned" I enjoy at this time of year Of course the newer types of lights are nice too.
I have a lit up reindeer that I keep thinking of putting out. Also I have a strand Ive been thinking of putting on that spruce tree in the front yard but never seem to get around to it.
Lol! We aren't putting up lights this year, or a tree. I'm laid up in a hospital bed. That house is about 4 down from ours. They do that every year. Cracks me up
Got em all out, checked em all out, hung em all up, plugged em in...no joy, took em all down and put em away, something wrong with the circuit, not the breaker, the only time I ever use this outlet is for the Christmas lights, I'm not fixin it...bah humbug.
I set mine up Sunday, it's the first time I've put up lights at my own place. Unfortunately, the dogs chewed up the lights on both the pillars on the right yesterday while I was at work, destroying 2 strands. I kind of wish the cords were hot when they did it....
