Best I go upstairs as the boss is trying to make Needham filling and use her sewing machine at the same time, that can and does result in burned spuds.

1 coat on the long wall.

2 coats on the short wall since I had just enough paint. Have to get another gallon tomorrow.

Never thought I would be saying this about any room in this house, but it is way too bright with the white. That is just moisture barrier paint - in Bright White. Boy is it! Even with not even half the walls done, it is blinding. Really reflects the 4 LED recessed lights. Now I have to figure out if I want to tone it down with a regular tinted paint as a 3rd layer, just get the moisture barrier paint lightly tinted (off white) or if the work bench and dark metal cabinets will tone it down some. I do want it bright for working, just this hurts the eyes.

Also thinking maybe put some sort of wainscoting type stuff in the bottom half to help protect the walls from whatever I am working on, but still thinking that thru.

savemoney , how is the new injection in knee doing?

My mother's husband had a new injection in his rotor cuff, she does not know what it was, except the cortisone injections in the past were not helpful. I am wondering if it is the same one you had in your knee?

Remind me, your injection was synthetic synovial fluid?

I wish I could say something positive about it, but I would be hard pressed to. I had both the steroid and the lubrication injected at the same time.

I was hoping for better news Larry, very sorry it was not very helpful for you

Hang in there friend! Personally, I take prednisone every day, not the best thing, but it keeps me mobile. Benefits vs Risks, you know the drill.....

My son helped get out our Christmas decorations. Tons to sort through. He put up some outside lights. Also some wreaths. Big difference from last year when I had a 2 ft tree I put up a couple days before Christmas. This year we sat up or old Victorian village. That hasn't been up in years. The cats seem a little too interested. We will have to wait to see how that goes. Only using non breakables on our tree. I have some really nice hand painted European bulbs, but I would rather pass those on to the kids than put them up and have the cats break them.

I sure do. Hope you can switch off to something else at some point. I have had prednisone for my respiratory issues. But I am always on a tapering dose when I need it. Nice to be able to breath!

It sucks when you have high hopes (or even average hopes) and something doesn't work as well as it does for some others. I know people that it has worked wonders for and am sorry that your experience has not been the same.

Low oil/natural gas prices not having any effect on pellet stove usage????? I was just looking on Craigs list, and in my area, there are 50+ pellet stoves for sale. Never seen that many there before, and this is right before Winter. MANY ads state the low cost of other fuels as the reason they are selling.

While I'm on the site, I thought I'd list one of the ads for you all to peruse.....see anything wrong? wildwest might see some irregularities since she has the same brand:

Drolet Pellet Stove ECO-45 for sale
