    Shark in tonic immobility, when you touch under the nose, the electrical sensors go wacky and they freeze until you let go. chain mail suit so they do not nip you. scuba in the caribbean every chance i get.....usually 4 weeks a year

    Had this avatar for a long time. Tried to change it a couple times but people objected and asked that I change it back. I obliged. It is sort of ugly but it is what it is.

    Quad was an almost Canadian term to me way back when they had 3-wheelers and people referred to them as ATV's, quad was a 4-wheeler
    Now they have UTV's (side-by-sides)

    The internet brought quad into the American vernacular - easier to type as well;)

    I think the technical difference is that an ATV can be a 2WD four wheeler where a Quad is a 4WD?
