We had Thanksgiving at the Boss' brother's place so no leftovers, the next day the boss picked up a fresh turkey on deep discount and cooked it for dinner, all kinds of leftovers :).

The only Christmas lights I have up is a snowman. Maybe in a week I'll put up a tree, have two very mobile reasons to stay decorations free as long as possible.

Luckily the cat and one year old stay clear. If there is a mouse in play, all bets are off.

Yeah, we didn't have any leftovers either. This Turkey was few from the Mother in law. Made meat stuffing and home made gravy along with a few veggies. Now time for a brew and to relax on the couch for a bit.

I have wondered about that as well, I don't really give a rat's hind end either. But it is fun to use the THEY anyway :D.

I have a cat that acts like she is a kitten and a 2 year old grand daughter that loves to climb. Don't want to mix the two with a tree here until at least one of them has already gotten used to a tree being around. Have dealt with both before and the poor tree can take a licking and sometimes they don't keep on ticking.

Last night got the 3rd coat of mud on the basement wall. today I did the final dry sanding, de-dusted the walls then did some wet sanding.

Did the dump run, laundered some of the throw pillows and chair coverings, then put together my new camera and figured out how to run it (directions, who needs stinking directions? :p). Then figured out how to get IE back on the laptop that I had upgraded to Win10. It came with Win8 and I hated the heck out of that OS. Refuse to upgrade my desktop as it has Win7, and I'm happy with that.

Then I cleaned both stoves pretty well and LBT'd both. Figured I should since I've got over a ton between the two. The P61a was the dirtiest since with its larger ash pan it is delegated to run the cr*p pellets - in this case pretty ashy ThermaGlo's and previously some very ashy Curran's blend left from last year. Plus, the P61a runs the most keeping the cold from infiltrating from the ground. Got lots more stuff from it during the LBT. Decided to treat the P61a to a couple of bags of FSU's left over from last year. Depending on how it likes them, I may run to HD tomorrow and get some more to mix with the TG's.

Started on the Vodka a few minutes ago - getting ready to paint the wall so won't be playing with fire, electronics or power tools. Can't color between the lines when sober, so no harm in having a few now

About to float away out here in Western Oregon.

Rain and wind by the metric buttload.

The El Nino usually gives us a dry fall and winter, not this year.

Many rivers are at flood stage and rolling on.

Snow piling up in the mountains too.

So much for the whiners and their drought.

I saw on the Weather Channel that there is a type of warm water "mini" El Nino right off the coast of Oregon & Washington.....that's whats driving all the rainfall your getting.
