    Had my rotator cuft fixed this am, 6 weeks in a sling and therapy after, arm is numb and tired.(wont have long post one hand typing)

    I hurt my shoulder a few years ago and it was some of worst pain I've ever had and it was hard to sleep because there was no comfortable positions. I hope you heal up quickly.

    Got my call from the surgeons office yesterday. I have to call back on Monday to schedule my severed rotator cuff surgery in January. Not at all looking forward to the 6 weeks of 23 1/2 hours a day sling, especially since it's my right shoulder and I am very right hand dominant.

    Was yours done arthroscopic or via incision?

    Best of luck and speedy recovery.

    artheroscpic so far its not too bad, they gave me a nerve block that lasted 24 hours, I am right arm dominate as well that's what stinks, this message took some time to type:mad:
