Mine is the number tag of a solo 681 chainsaw. My previous was the model of the best tractor ever.

    UncleJoe?

I moved to a new area in the early spring of '82 and didn't know anyone. Met someone that took me to a weekly Sunday afternoon volleyball game early that summer. One of the regular attendees called me Uncle Joe one day. I didn't think anything of it. As the weeks went by, more and more people started doing it.

Fast forward 3 years and a completely different group of people.

I was introduced to Mike. Mike had this habit of calling his male friends "Dad" and his female friends "Mom". Not long after I met him he addressed me as Dad. He got this quizzical look on his face and said; "No, that just doesn't fit you. You're more like an uncle; Uncle Joe."

2 different circles attached that label to me and I've been UJ ever since.

No fan of the music on this vid, but if you need to get your Nurse Ratched fix, here it is....

I cleaned up the fallen trees from a windstorm last year. That is the pile of logs and rounds - aspen and pine mostly. That is 2016-2017 wood. My detached garage is in the background.

Boring, but I like it, it represents my life.

I like boring, same here, I never have any exciting drama to report to others, yep, boring, but I like it much better than the alternative!
