Howdy Everyone, It's about time I make a post - been lurking here over a year and joined FHC last month. First off - thanks to everyone here I've learned a lot. A bit about me... This is my second year burning - installed a Enviro Boston 1200 stove in the "Florida room" last year. Plan was to burn for ambiance and supplement the natural gas boiler. Well I got the bug bad (you know how it is - haha). I now hate to fire up that boiler and pay the man. So far this year it's been turned on only twice - and that was only to make sure it works. Yea, first year burning was tough - I used a a lot of those Enviro Blocks to suppliment that wet crap I bought off of Craigslist. Seasoned wood my arse. I started putting up wood in September 2014 - some bought, most scrounged via Craigslist. Now I'm burning dry stuff and just over a year ahead. I scrounge with the daily driver - a Pontiac Vibe. I can get just over 1/2 face cord in there at a time. Had a minor catastrophe today... Heavy wind storm blew through and had three racks of next years wood tipped over - (domino effect). About 2.5 cords worth. I know what I'll be doing this weekend. Next project is a wood shed - been looking here for ideas. Anyone else in the Rochester area? Cheers, Gpsfool

Welcome to the site. I saw Rochester and my first thought was you aren't too far from me, then I saw it was in NY and not MN. Good you found this site anyway.
Welcome aboard, Gpsfool All old or slow or shy lurkers should jump on in to this thread of yours dave70 and introduce themselves, and then Oldman47 can tell 'em
