BK Princess for sale

in Ortonville.
E-mailed for price and he's asking $2500, but will entertain offers.
I was quoted about 2900 from a dealer down in that area, so I'll pass on a used one at that price.

He's putting a new BK insert in to save floor space, so this one's gotta go.
If I had a couple grand layin' around.....I'd go get it.

 

Mine was $2400 out the door this fall (no blower or conv. deck) so yea with the class a if one could wheel & deal a little more……..

 

I'm pretty sure it's this one I tried to buy back in the summer. If so, the guy has $750 into it (there was a thread on another forum ). Which is incredible.

I'd try to make some money on it too, but not 350%.

Supposedly it's a 2010-11 stove.

 

Had to look up the manual and see if it will fit, which it will. Hmmm.

We're going to son's new (old) house for Christmas. I think it's in Bloomfield.....my wife knows.
Got a brother living in Ann Arbor.

 

Ann Arbor is fun, as long as you know your way around. And if you don't, it's just frustrating, instead of dangerous.

I ate way too much at Mongo last night, as a matter of fact.

papadave, what will you do with all your free time once you finally get a BK? I've never burned a tube stove or a BK, but they seem to be on opposite ends of the "flames spectrum". I've read many BK threads and one phrase shows up pretty frequently: "most boring stove in the world". What I find interesting about it is the choice of the word "boring". They could have chosen "freeing" or "liberating", yet they chose "boring". After doing the "black screen" burns with my Fireview, I completely understand the choice of "boring". Something in me is drawn to see some flame. Kind of curious about your thoughts on making the change.

 

Boring, is right. It is fun to go over to the stove with the lights off to peer at the glowing cat though.

 

HarvestMan , I'm also a fan of the flames, but I want a more even, long lasting heat, so I'll give up some of that flame thing to get it.
The 30NC has helped "free" my time somewhat, but it burns very much like the old stove, except much cleaner and a little longer burns.
Fairly quick heat which lasts for a short couple/few hours, then starts tapering off.
Had a black glass burn last night, and burned it all off this morning with a hot Poplar fire.
Free time? hmmm
My wife asked me last night if I would make her a scratch post for the cats, if I have some free time. Then, she chuckled a little.
