actually, its a good point......while I naturally like my avatar, other folks might actually be offended (no hijab on her)......even though they might be offended, and they can demand the avatar be pulled, or else (?), its the choice of the website owner to ultimately decide if its obscene or not, and act accordingly.
Very unlikely... Pretty mild by today's standards. I think people that claim to be offended, or outraged, are sad people, with no lives of their own.. They should get pellet stoves... Dan
I love Lousy weathers avatar. Now bushpilot and I can start a war over it like any two sensible adults should.
After reading all of this hate speech I have to retreat to my safe space.I think it involves more beer.
There's too much common sense in this thread. Yet, nobody is arguing and fighting. It would have been closed long ago on other sites.
OK! Getting back to the original posting, the fact that she is looking for free fixes should show you the mentality behind the T-Shirt. Opinions are like A-Holes, everyone has one! As far as the Woman offended by a customers T-Shirt and blaming your establishment for something that you have no control over, YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!
Often giving free advice is the best way to win a customer for life. Is she wrong for asking, or is she doing a favor to the establishment in allowing them to serve her? Unfortunately, this is true.
kinda what bushpilot said.....in this business, we end up giving free advice all the time...every day. At some point you hope to reap the rewards, and with some people you do, but with others, well, nope. Everyone is your friend when they want something. As for the woman who didn't like the others shirt....I don't think that's stupidity. I rather think its ignorance, and a lack of caring about other folks opinions (you know, the ole "the world revolves around me" mentality?- I know it cant revolve around her, as it revolves around me). They hope to slam the other person at our expense by putting us in the "its me or her" position. Heck, I'll likely see the girl with the tee shirt again, but the other one? Likely not.
