Spartans and Hawkeyes tangle at 8pm. Who's going to prevail. I'll be ok either way - just enjoy an important match up in a big game. Hope one of them make it to the 'Big Dance' for the National championship. Let's have some predictions. (and a warm platter to eat a bit of crow later)
Kind of weird. 2 Canucks all fired up for the big showdown in Indianapolis and no Spartan or Hawkeye boosters yet to respond. Sure do hope whoever wins goes on to win New Years Eve and then on the the National championship. Maybe this is way too controversial. We got tons of members in Michigan and one for sure in Iowa.
Since I was born and raised in Michigan and have lived here most of my life, I'll be rooting for Michigan State.
From a defensive slugfest to a heart stopping wild and wooly back and forth affair. Still a quarter to go and the lead is changing hands.
While I'm not happy my badgers aren't in this game, in routing for the hawkeyes, because they beat us, and are one of the top teams.
Boy what a game. It had everything. Right down to the wire. I stayed up so am a little tired. Might have to catch a wink or two in the pew. LOL Both teams played great defensive football. I imagine MSU will rank in the top 4 now and move on.
I think I recall the next game is New Year's Eve. Could be wrong - nice if it is - as it may keep me up until midnight to ring in 2016.
Okay, I predict MSU will win. Sorry Bob. I was off line for several days. Didn't even watch the game but liked the outcome.
It may have been the best game we will see all year. It was evenly matched, back and forth, a bit of everything and right down to the last few seconds. I felt for Iowa as they played a heck of a game also. MSU may open some eyes as we go into the next round.
