No one can make us "feel" like anything... What you may have come to realize, is that this is an upfront, legitimate, honestly good and friendly place. Part of why I'm here. And I know I've stepped on toes, but being populated by understanding folks, this forum has members who know truth, honesty, sense of humor(wide ranging, that's for sure), and genuine concern for the well being of like-minded folks, plus the humility and humanity to reach out to some who aren't necessarily like-minded. A common appreciation for farwood, saws, family, good eats, good times, our fellow persons, integrity, helpfulness- these are some of the tenets at the core of FHC (as I see it, and as I've witnessed), and as such, "likability" comes with the territory. Now, sir Bob- YOU have valid input- your interest in and posting within "storing wood in the garage" shows these things. Highly "likable," bud! I know you brought the main question posed in the OP with some honest concern, and a solid point, indeed. I hope the takeaway has been positive ... Nobody "likes" anything for the sheer experience of being noticed here, but rather to offer support for "stuff" we do also, wish we could do, or to appreciate that people on this forum are just as neat, whacky, serious, intentional, committed, dedicated, sincere, caring, as the next member. This is a fantastic place to come and share most any thought or effort(thankfully not politics), and together we can realize many things, individually and as a group. The great thing about FHC is we can choose how much of either we want to maintain or participate within. And may all be well with everyone here
Don't "like" this... I just missed the last two steps going downstairs to check the stove- in the dark. Hernia repair seems to be intact. Lower back, knees(which I landed on)>we'll see how it feels in the morning.
That about covers it all Eric, very thoughtfully and eloquently said. I would have given it a double like if I could!
Please don't tell me the reason you didn't turn the light on was to save a little bit? Or, I don't need it? Could've been quite expensive. We only pay a little for the convenience of that switch, you know.
Cant say that I havnt done the same thing and its hard on the back -I hope you are feeling OK this morning.
Hope you're ok this AM. Hopefully you didn't break your funny bone, I enjoy reading your posts. Let me know when it's ok to like them again.
Stiff this morning. Nah, yooperdave, it wasn't for that reason... I remembered I had to unplug the Christmas lights and already killed the far switch... I need the "Clapper!" You're right rottiman Thanks for the concern y'all. Means a lot to me
