Been looking for metal roofing to cover my stacks for a long time - ads on CL, etc. Drove by an area at work and saw some metal roofing stacked on the ground - asked if it was okay to take and.........they said go for it! Ended up with about a dozen good 14' sheets and some scraps that were 6' to 8' long. My rows of pallets are about 30' long, so wasted two 14' sections to cover the 2' gap in the middle. I didn't want to cut to size yet, since I may find a better use for them. Just wanted to free up some of my rubber roofing to cover new stacks - I'll free up enough to cover at least a dozen new stacks, so I'll leave at 14' for now. This stuff sure is nice for completely covering the piles - was very happy to get them! Cheers! 20151206_092958.jpg 20151206_093016.jpg

That is a sweet score! My brother is a roofer-- I am hoping he can hook me up with some old roofing at some point in the near future.

Good cover and nice stacks. You were fortunate to act on that.

No - 5 cord fit in the barn and the rest is always just fine under the top covers for years and years - + don't want to move the wood another time into a shed - I move it enough! Cheers!@
