I am cleaning up this old Whitfield. Painting it and checking all the gaskets. Tried a test fire and the auger would not start,so I jumpered the pressure switch. Auger started and seemed to work. I am painting all the image.jpg image.jpg panels. Seems like it hasn't really been used much. I got it used. Its gonna be a present to a friend that is tired of burning cord wood. Pellets are much easier.

You are a good friend! !

If you have any questions about this unit? Member Snowy Rivers is the resident Whitfield stove expert!!

She knows these stoves better than the engineering team that made them!

The 2T is a great stove.

We have one in the family room and I bought another used one recently from a local fellow.

I wanted another Prodigy 2 for spare parts and run an ad on craigs. A fellow called and said he had one that looked just like the piccy I posted (My avatar is a prodigy 2)

Outwardly they are sooooo similar, but the P2 is a lot smaller physically.

Whitfield did a great job of making stoves.

Looking forward to seeing your finished pix.

I painted our ADV 2t before I installed it.

Wished I had stripped it completely first.

The rattle can stove bright caused the factory paint to lift and wrinkle

OMG ! This stove is nicer than the stove I have.I Let it run for a couple hours going thru all heat cycles. 4 was very hot. Never did turn it on 5. My stove has ran flawlessly for the last 2 years or I would trade. Install should be in the next week. More pics to follow. image.jpg image.jpg
