I have bought poor boy sub sandwiches at the grocery store deli before and the plastic wrap smelled like that. First time I should have returned it but the deli clerk assured me it was the plastic. I was too hungy.....all was fine after I took it out of the plastic.

I heard cottonwood is stinky too, if that happens to be in the pellets.

smelly pellets, just wash them in a colander before you use them....takes the smell away.....

I bought Vulcan brand pellets a long time ago and they had a pee type smell to them.
