Between the pants, the pants pockets and the pocket on my hoodie, I now get changed I the garage[/quote] Same story here
For me it's my shoes. Gotta remember to take the low cut, steel toed shoes off outside! they'rr always full of chips.
X2 the chaps have taken care of the problem for me. Also keep my legs from getting beat up from brush.
I will have to try the chaps to see if that helps. As soon as I walk in the house I can see my wife looking me over to see how much dirt and chips on hanging off me. I have to admit though I am getting used to it.
Yep, I always wear boots. No chips then. Also, the chaps help a ton too. I also never roll up my jeans cuffs.
When I was a kid we always had to come into the house through the wood shed. We kept a broom right next to that door and you had better get everything off before you chanced that door. The wood shed was an attached lean-to at the back entry door so you could get wood without actually going outside.
I cut mostly in winter, so chaps allow me to keep drier, especially if I have to kneel on snow to fuel a saw or whatever.
