GREAT choice, IMO. Superior ratings in snow, ice, and wet. Approx $70 + at Discount Tire Online, and you get a $25 instant discount, plus free shipping.

It will make much more sense if you aren't sober and clear-headed at the time. However, your long-suffering wife will need to play chauffer :D

Nah, I've been "driving Ms. Daisy" for years now, she will never wear the chauffer's cap. And that's a-ok with me.

( About the aren't sober part, we fully agree on this. )

Last week, we took Rte 28 south out of Alton for the first time in a long while. Although this stretch was just done 1-2 years ago, its already bumpy-cant wait for late Feb and March when it starts heaving

Yeah, too much 'analysis paralysis' today. (I blame last night's Beer. :D)

I really do appreciate all the help & feedback from everybody, many Thanks.

Studded Altimax Arctic tires is what I'm going with - thankfully the weather has been really good here, so I don't have to scramble to get this done 'tomorrow', still have a few days / a week to get it done.

well, cleaned the stove, light fluffy ash, fair amount. now is it better combustion from the OAK or the new Somersets this year, unfortunately I did the OAK the same day of my first burn so I do not know. I think a combination of both, only because I had the stove running while I was hooking up the OAK and seen the flame "perk" up when I connected it.

Friday evening picked up the 4 drawer Husky tool cabinet. Got it put together and then transferred a bunch of my bigger tools over from the work bench. Love that I can just wheel it around out of my way! Just checked where my new work bench has made it to,; Friday it was in Williams Arizona, yesterday in Melrose, NM and right now it is in Lenexa, KS. Wonder if I could get a relative or out-law to go check to see if the package is damaged yet while it is in KS :D. Heck, come to think of it, I could have had someone go check it in AZ - have several friends that relocated from NH to AZ.

Got the second coat of mud on the basement walls yesterday. Today dry sanded the worst of it, and just got done wet sanding. Need to do one more coat in the corner and some other places (which means I'll do it all again because ADHD).

Earlier today I went to the Capital City and perused Wally World to get saline for my contacts, and a few grocery items, then headed to HD. Checked out their "damaged" goods, but didn't see anything I couldn't live without. Got a cover for the junction box in my hallway (newly placed there by electrician a couple of weeks ago), and a blade for my oscillating multi-tool. Checked out the FSU's (5.18/bag) and managed to whoe myself back from grabbing any. I've got close to 4 tons, some of them last year's FSU's, so it's not like I NEED any more right now.

Just cracked open the vodka for a relaxing evening. Hey, and if the Pats are losing - not my fault I turned off the game  (last game WAS my fault - had it on the entire time).

I'm guessing you'll have better luck finding wheels for a Camry than I had finding wheels for the Cruze. Seems very few vehicles use a 5 lug 105mm bolt pattern, two of which are the Cruze and the Volt. I got lucky and found 4 steelies on Fleabay for $25 each, shipped. I think they came out of Arizona. No idea how they made money on them, as they were shipped via FedEx ground each with its own box and label. The wheel covers I think were $40 shipped for the set of 4. I figured after two years of not paying for swapping winter/summer tires on one set of rims at a tire shop that I'd be money ahead.

The Cruze Eco package doesn't come with a spare - you get a 12 volt inflator and a can of fix a flat from the factory. I bought a new spare tire rim from GM Parts Direct and picked up a junkyard spare tire from a Malibu, and had the tire swapped to the new rim. If I have a blowout, that fix a flat chit isn't going to do me any good. I used to work in a garage and drove a tow truck back in the day, so changing tires isn't anything I'm afraid of doing.

Yep. The explanation is that it keeps the weight down to make it easier to get the 42 MPG government rating. You get roadside assistance from the factory, so no need for a spare, right?? ;)

Even after adding the spare tire, jack and a breaker bar/socket I still get 42 MPG+ on the highway. I'll sacrifice a few gallons of fuel over the life of the car for peace of mind.

Edit - it's not just GM that does this.
