image.jpeg It was time to move this Ash outta the way where it was stacked in what is now the processing area. My kids, the Kubota, and I moved it to the front porch. These stacks will be able to continue to dry here and get used in late winter or spring. image.jpeg These stacks will also provide some cover from snow and wind for this front door. image.jpeg
A nice day to work outside! image.jpeg
Gotta love the look of stacked firewood!

And we can make a lot of great jokes about it.
We will burn maple tonight and save the ash for colder nights. Just sittin' on my ash tonight.

I bought that rocker about 13 years ago for my wife to rock the kids in. When bought it was clear finish, hard wood. The finish peeled and one day I came home and the wife was spray painting it.:picard:i thought of a few things to say but didn't want my Ash in a sling.

It actually turned out to look pretty nice. But I prefer the grain of wood instead of paint. Oh well.
