Did a little cutting today

    Got over to my buddys place that has a gazillon ash trees. We hauled 2/3 of a cord out and have about another 2 cord down and blocked up. More cutting and hauling Sat. and Sun.

    He has another cord split for me that I have to get to before it gets to wet to get to.

    That's a good size... all of the ash here is probably 6" less in diameter. Are there a lot of them that size Gary_602z ?

    Most of what we cut today were probably 9-18" that was the biggest today. I didn't measure it guessing around 24"

    Gary, that little burl on the left side of the tree, first picture. My wife says that looks like Smokey the Bear! She'd love to have it and asked why I don't grow things like that in our woods. :whistle: It is sort of neat.
