Cut a little bit of wood today. Cut until I ran out of gas; both the saw and me. Some nice red oak. Still working on the top that my neighbor left for me last spring. Will try to get that cleaned up yet this week.

Good work! Love the smell of freshly sawed red oak. I can see why you ran out of gas; getting those big ones in the cart takes some effort.

Yes it can but the cant hook and log tongs make it much less work! Pickeroon comes in pretty handy too.

The three blocks that are in the trailer were loaded using the cant hook. Very nice too having a low trailer!

Yes it does Eric. A bit of a struggle between cuts though as one can't manage a cane and saw together very well. So I just sit the saw on the log and brace against that to take a step then cut. Repeat... Hey, it works!

Nice work. Some good heat you got there. I respect the work you do with a cane. God bless you ...

Can you use the hookaroon as your cane? A little heavy, but bad azz and always prepared for the wood:dex:

By your tone, we can tell you are/were having fun :)

    The oak looks heavy ?
Is the tailgate your ramp to roll the big ones onto the trailer ?
I used small splits &/or the notch wedge, laid at the back of the trailer to roll the big rounds onto to get them in the trailer.
But if the gate goes with you every trip, a good multi use for it ;)
