That's my plan because my homemade UPS is a tad slow for the Fahrenheit's liking.

Had one of those too (Ex got that one). Even though it was newer, I didn't like it as much and it didn't have the super macro ability - with the Canon I can literally get within 1" and get a good picture. Since a lot of my photos are of flowers and bugs in those flowers (because I have to take pics of things other than my stoves and pellets  ), I use that feature a lot. But, not looking for a fancy, more expensive camera since I see wonky (distorted) so bells and whistles just mean I can get even worse pictures by trying to fiddle with settings .

A decent site to find deals is this one-but of its a great deal and hits the front page here it usually sells out fast. I saw that Cyberpower backup yesterday at 6:30 am. I give Amazon credit for not taking the deal down when it went out of stock. They still took orders but you had to be willing to wait several weeks for delivery-not bad for that particular deal

Multiple out for deliveries, more for tomorrow (brewing supplies), and KC's cat food subscription has shipped so she won't go hungry. Yesterday I got the stuff for Met-Life headed to Kentucky (I hate this unneeded paperwork crap).

I kept it at an SSD for the laptop and a few small items, although this UPS probably would have been a good purchase for the stove.

Hey pellet heads, hope all is good w/ everyone, very busy here - taking Sub's weather forecast advise to heart, lots of year-end cleanup and winter prep to do. Still finishing up that last 5% of leaf detail before they freeze to the ground. Ugh.

Glad to read you had an excellent dinner out Will , we need to do that here real soon here too. ( I really need a steak, after days of Turkey left-overs.. I may be roosting in a tree soon. :picard: )

+1 on the Cyberpower UPS series, nice units w/ clean stable power & fast switch-over : have several installed @ a client site & they work excellent. That 1500 model will be the next UPS for the stove here, eventually.

Low forties, overcast and drizzling rain here, sooo looking forward to going back outside, stay warm folks!

We burned a large brush pile last Friday. Saturday was cold and rainy - I figured it was all set so I drained and rolled up the 2 100' hoses for storage on Sunday.
THEN I checked the burn pile-still warm underneath

Unrolled 1 hose-10 feet to short :headbang: had to unroll the second

Left it all out in case my pyro honey decides to burn anything else over the next few weeks. Now the hoses are frozen.

It doesn't matter what you do to prepare for winter-its never all done in time

I'll try, but the red cape has been out at the dry cleaner's for years now.. Excellent advise though, Thanks.

Way past that G - stove is just another 'thing' now.. Maybe. I'm hoping. Gonna do it anyway. :D

Amen to that - happens every.single.year here. Much better here than past years though, so that's cool.

I'm done, it's deceptively raw out there w/ the steady light rain, tomorrow's another day... but still have some work to do, heading out to town..

Looking forward to joining you all w/ a Smoothie later.

I can find something to do with it, the damm paperwork is still for the ******* birds. It should not take that many pages to lay it all out. Hell a long form mortgage document doesn't need that many signatures, what gets me more than just a bit frosted is they can't even keep their paper work straight. The paperwork that they said needed more work really didn't and they didn't even send part of it they said needed some work done to it. The real truth is that they don't have a clue and the kids handling it have even less of a clue. Been around too damm long. More likely it is better if they don't have to pay it out.
