Finally had a day off where it wasn't pouring rain. We got our last load of 2016 firewood split and stacked and the last two loaded of 2015 wood into the basement (been waiting for the truck to be empty!) My best friend came over to lend a hand so we could get it all done in the snow before it really piled up!

I hear you. I was going to do this last summer (2014) but hurt my shoulder and it's been on hold ever since. I am wanting to get the drywall up in the area the xmas tree will go this weekend. Hoping to get most of that room done, actually, but I have to get some lumber to widen the entryway first so we can get better circulation from the stove room. But that and the chair rail and the paint and all that jazz needs to wait until we can scrape together enough money to do so. The drywall is just hanging out waiting for us to screw it to the wall, so that won't cost us anything more.

Congrats. Got about a week 'till I'm there. 4 tons of Eco Bricks to get home, and into the garage. Have wheel barrow, will carry.

Come to the great north east Jay Peak ski area posts their snow always 200 inches of snow a year... about 45 minutes East. :shiver: maybe that's why we have so many snow birds that go south for winter:whistle:

We've got snow birds here too. Really surprised my parents haven't started snowbirding.

Being from Eau Claire, you probably have better things to do, like drink Leinies. :)

We are just now (well WWW) laying the laminate flooring I bought in 2013. Stuff happens and things get delayed, we've all been there!

send pictures! I had them put in upstairs in the main living area. Got ones that were really thick. 14 mm. No clicking sound when we walk on them. Now downstairs, we have all tile. Much cooler on the bare feet!

Well, I just got done having my buddy help me hang sheet rock in a room that I've been working on since last fall. But he's trying to teach me how to mud. His way seem a bit easier than the original way I was taught... So we shall see... But isn't it a nice feeling to get your wood in while you still can and its warm and dry to get to...
