I have looked around and seen things like Northern tool and Zoro post sales but not on anything I want. What have you each discovered for today?

I saw that but who wants a gray sweatshirt? I sort of like the blue one in the picture but it is not listed.

You could try Amazon. They seem to have some sort of sale going on this time of year, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and pretty much ongoing Christmas sales. But I've never gotten in on any. The best deals I've found were to buy off season. Pick up a snow blower in late spring and early summer, the same for log racks and anything similar. Another example is to buy tin roofing now, rather than spring and summer. For small roofs it might not add up to much for savings, but it does for the larger roofs, maybe enough to pay for the fasteners and trim! :)

There are a few things I've been tempted to purchase, but I'm always leery of making a first time purchase on a new to me site. Like how do I know my information won't be sold to other sites, or my CC# used to make purchases without my consent. I mean, look at all the sites that have been hacked. Like Home Depot and Target. Plus, I don't like being inundated with unsolicited email. My insurance company does that as well as another company that I do business with.

Over the years I've had my CC# taken and used without my consent several times, so now I'm a bit gun shy.

Well we don't really get any info from you other than where to send the swag. It's all done through paypal unless you need to make other arrangements. And there are no follow up emails other than to tell you that your item has been shipped. And we would never sell your info.

Picked up another medium pickup load of Ash from a friend of mine. In addition to his normal job; where I met him, he runs a crew of "landscapers" that do lawns, gardens, small tree work etc. He invited me to take all the wood I wanted. Been there 3 times now, and have hauled home probably about 3/4 cord of EAB Ash!!

Best part is, he's only 2 miles away.

Tree stuff has a 15% off everything coupon, and I don't see anything saying you can't use it on saws either...

If that happens, then you should not have to pay.

I try to stay away from places that want my CC#. I use Paypal for most on-line purchases because they have been given specific information to access my checking account which means my CC# is not put out there at all. If someone hacks Paypal they will need to pose as Paypal to use that information. My on-line bank has been hacked and they gave me a free year of ID theft protection as a result in order to keep my business, but I never saw anything come into my account there that was not my own charge. I have been doing on-line banking at FNBO for over 8 years and have been using Paypal almost that long. No issues for me ever.
I do run a robust internet security system called Bit Defender that warns me if I even get close to a possible threatening site. I always pay attention to their warnings and walk away when they tell me to.
