What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Great game, and a great outcome.

 

Well it's time for some caffeine. Today will consist of enclosing the back porch with the plastic panels. It could snow anytime so I better get that done. I have held off later this year because of the nice, mild weather we have had this fall. But the temperatures are finally starting to stay cooler. Let's just hope this doesn't mean winter stays around late again this year. Right through March and into beginning of April it was cold last year.

When that is done I may work on taking a few trees down where we are going to build the barn next summer. If everything goes okay.

 

Well, yesterday was nice. Mom made lunch, the West won the Grey Cup, YEAH! It was a close exciting game so it could have gone either way. I hate final games that are blow outs. I got a lot of knitting done.

Staying home today to get some work done on Christmas presents so I will not, I must not, I am going to try not surf FHC today.

 

Back to work today after 5 days off.

 

Stopped and got a hair cut this morning before I got too dirty from working. Then came home and moved the rest of some Pine from front porch to basement. Will let that dry a little more down there for a week or so. Boy is it hot and dry down there. Perfect for drying out the wood a little more. Now it's time to move some brush and junk with the tractor and grapple to get it out of the way where the barn will go. Then take wife out to lunch while she is on a short lunch break. Then start dropping trees where barn will go.

 

"I will not, I must not, I am going to try not surf FHC today" ............

 

I bet the grapple will be handy while you're dropping the barn lot trees Gas. Have fun.

Stupid stump!

 

Made my trip to Toronto for my supplies. Left 5:30 a.m. got home 6:40 pm 1,049 Kms. (650 miles) roundtrip. Traffic down there is HIDEOUS................glad to be home............Rottiman now officially tired................

 

Nice drivin! Time to relax my friend.

 

For sure Gas, crash landing on my pillow will be happening shortly...............

 

After that post, I did go down into the sewing room and got quite a bit done. The FHC bug can be beat (but not for long lol)

 

Caffeine time. Took down several trees in the afternoon yesterday. Never did enclose the porch. Must do that first today. Then return to the trees. Suppose to start raining this afternoon. Will be time to burn a couple more fires of sticks, stumps, and old rotted logs from the woods. Should feel good when working out in the cold.

 

I'll be right there in the cold with ya, Gas. More gas piping in the 1"-3" thats forecasted.

 

Cold weather is over. It is wet and windy this morning. Got the pot roast on and now getting ready for our walk. gotta go to work today. No playing in the sewing room.

Funny thing happened on my walk yesterday. I meet a walker doing my route but in the opposite direction. She was carrying a cat which had followed her and she was going to take it back to where she picked it up. She gave it to me as I had the shorter distance going back. Of course this is the morning that I meet two people with dogs. Any way got the cat back to his home area and then worried it would follow me. I guess two rides going there and back were enough as it went home. With cougar sightings all over town, we both were worried if it got too far from home, it would get eaten. Really nice cat. The dogs were quite curious when I got home.

 

Started sprinkling here and then quit. I'm waiting for it to start again. Hoping to get rid of some branches and stumps today.

 

Another damp day here. Mud season in full swing.
