Yeah............probably too much fiber anyway................................

 

Paper towel rolls taped at one end.

Melt parrafin wax in a small pot.

Stir in saw chips, noodles or sawdust until coated well.

Scoop into tubes and tamp with dowel after a few scoops.

Cool, peel tube off and cut.

I made a tamper out of a dowel and epoxied into a small jar lid that is just under the size of the tube.

I added small charcoal chunks to one batch for extended burn time.

 

Any more improvements and there won't be the need for firewood!!
I'll be trying to make my own shortly-thanks for the tips.

 

12 grains of added gun powder will speed up the extended burn.........................

Church this morning, grocery run, a little work on my shed and a lot of working putting up outside Christmas decorations. Tis the season!

Fire, beer and the couch now.

 

Just ate turkey dinner again. Must ..... rest..... now. Delicious. We had it T-Day, Friday, skipped Saturday, and had it tonight. Delicious everytime! Now it is gone. A very few little left overs to be tossed.

Slice them before removing the tubes...? Or don't ever remove them...the tubes burn too.

 

Split wood today. Got a little more than half the pile done...probably close to 3 cord. Not bad for 2 guys and 2.5 hours.

 

I may have had a little too much fine sawdust. Chips and noodles really make good ones. Lots of rough edges to catch quick.

I have a bunch of planer shavings that I could use. Hmmmm.

 

I got the last trailer load of wood stacked in my patio stack. I just have to bring up the last bit from the one pallet by my shed that I've been burning from already this year and stack it in the patio stack too.

Then I'll get a picture of it and post it here.

I also got the Christmas decorations up outside.

But I mostly watched a lot of football and I'm not done with that yet

William has my slipper. Then he fell asleep with it.

I won't take it from him. He really likes having mom or dad's clothes by him when he sleeps. It's really adorable.
