    I got to try this out today and find it works very well! It took three fairly slow pulls with full choke and the decompression valve engaged for the saw to 'burp'. Then choke off and again press decomp but the decomp valve opened during the pull- over so it took two sharp pulls and the saw was running. Many thanks for passing along this method!

    I did find a Dolmar dealer not too distant from me although not in the greatest neighborhood. Oh well, that is what handguns are for- so one can safely and reliably get to the OPE store and back. :rofl: :lol: I think I will take a test- run on a Dolmar 6100 if the dealer has one in stock.
