Rebuilt a piano bench and made a shelf for the dining room.

Might start the stained glass project today.

LOL..............I feel like I am back full time with running these Medical Appt. drives. Ran 5 days this week....................and I have determined that 5 day work weeks just don't work for me anymore. As for the bride, she says she is going to be in the "decompression" mode until after the holidays. I'm just sittin' back on this one to watch how this is all gonna unfold for her after that..........

99 is really looking forward to retirement, also. Really. REALLY! About one more year if all goes according to plans.

Enjoying a cold beer here. I'm exhausted and will hope to be sleeping by 9:30.

I am checking this off the to do list. It only took 11 years to get to it. This is our mahogany dining room table. It had a shellac finish and all the scratches and water rings to go with it. Some veneer was chipped off and those areas were repaired. The finish was sanded off down to the wood and it received 5 coats of Minwax oil based polyurethane.

I took one drop leaf off in this picture.

    Pretty rough shape.

It should be good for another decade.

Looks good. Shellac is a bear to get off.

It redid my dad's old coffee table today...but I cheated and either recut or replaned everything to get the old finish off. I had to sand the top because my planer is too small.

I used 220 grit on the orbital sander. 6 pieces per section. It clogged pretty quick.

I got the rest of my wood for this year to my house today that I had at my buddies house. 2 more loaded trailers full. I unloaded the first load, and stacked nearly all of it.

There's a few splits that will need to be cut down. They are just too long for my quadrafire 4100, even if they are to be loaded EW. I could burn them in my fireplace this week before I get my quadrafire installed on Saturday, but they are all shag or beech, so I'm not wasting the btu's in my FP, especially since it's not really that cold out.

I want to save the premium wood for the really cold days.

Here's the first trailer load today. I got this load all stacked on my patio. IMG_20151128_135609313.jpg

And here's the second load from today, which is the last load. This is still in the trailer tonight. I'll stack it tomorrow.
    IMG_20151128_181553429.jpg

These 2 loads were mostly hickory, with some sugar maple in it too. There was a little box elder and pine in there too.

Tonight I had a nice ice cold beer upon my arrival home, sat right in front of the FP that my wife has been tending to all day, some awesome turkey soup my wife made, after taking a nice hot shower.

Now I'm chilling by the fire, watching the OU vs OSU game drinking a rum and coke.

I have a feeling I'll be having some pumpkin pie here in a few.

Work hard, chill hard. That's my motto.

It had a lot to live up to and failed miserably IMO. Hard to complain about Christina Applegate, the rare beauty that gets better with age.
